Starting a business takes determination and passion and excitement don't run away from Initial failure. One of the most exhilarating things a person can do is starting a new business But unfortunately, a few bad decisions and some poor breaks and it can also be one of the most stressful and disappointing events in a person's life and a complete waste of time and money.
The most practical examples of successful businesses and instructions on how to be like them, from using Social Media to networking clubs to build business and your job is to figure out what market you can best serve, then develop a strategy and budget to go after them.
You must know three things which you should ever consider when you start a business and want to succeed: Passion, Excitement and Faith. If you don't love what you do, if you don't put passion in it, and feel motivated to wake up early in the morning, that business will never grow. It will find a way to survive in time but will never grow.
The first thing you must know that when you are starting a business it won't start giving profit instantly from the time you start it. Hence you must wait and learn and apply new ways of doing business to succeed, not leave it after initial failure.
My advice to a friend starting a new business is as follows.
Vision. Never let money get in the way of vision. Ideas and concepts are free. Always do yourself the legwork prep work and homework. Prove to the people around you that you are dedicated and committed and they will want to invest in YOU, not your business.
Learning from Others. Learning from others' mistakes is perhaps the best way to strategize Success.
Don't Look Behind If Starting a Business. For instance, if you want to grow with your own business, just make sure first and then don't look behind. Always remember loss and success fly together, so don't be disheartened about…...

...populated country. Lots of people are looking for such a product. Green Coconuts are not available all the time. For example: a person walking on the street. Suddenly he feels thirsty. Now if he wishes to drink green coconut water he cannot find it easily. It is not always found in the right place at the right time. If we launch our product in the market, a person willing to drink green coconut water can have it from a nearby shop. At present this is not possible. Our target market includes health conscious people, sick people, sportsperson & many other consumers, which we have segmented from the Demographical, Geographical, Psycho graphical & Behavioral point of view. We have prepared a financial documentation for this feasibility plan of a new product. As we are introducing the product in three categories at 250 ml, 500 ml and 1 Liter bottles, we have prepared the Break-Even-Analysis for each of the product line. We have prepared the feasibility plan for five-year basis. For 250mls the break-even point is at 4158004 Units. That means if we sale 4158004 Units a year, we will make neither profit nor loss. So to make profit we have to create a market demand in such a way so that more than 4158004 Units are sold every year. Obviously the unit cost will eventually come down because of the law of Marginal Cost. Then the break-even point will also come down. But that is from the long run perspective. So initially we might suffer loss but ultimately we would earn enough profit.......

Advice to a Friend on Choosing a Mistress

...30/11/2013 Rhetorical Analysis of Advice to a Friend on Choosing Mistress Advice to a Friend on Choosing Mistress is a letter written by Benjamin Franklin in June 25th 1745 to his friend. The speech of this letter is essentially communicated to single men. The author gave advices particularly to his friend on which type of woman he should date if he is not ready to get married. Franklin preceded his lustful consulting by an apology for the marriage, recalling his friend how much carnal pleasures are favourable in a legal and recognized union. In his message, Franklin advises his friend that marriage is the best solution not for only sexual desires but also the undisputable source of solid happiness. Having suspicions that his friend would not follow his guidance, Franklin recommends him to choose older mistresses instead of younger ones and lists eight valuables reasons to better support his argument. Franklin commences his essay by presenting advantages of the marriage. He says ‘’ I know of no medicine fit to diminish the violent inclinations you mention…Marriage is the proper remedy. It is most natural state of man and therefore the state in which you can are most likely to find solid happiness’’. Through those sentences, Franklin seems to estimate that from a masculine’ view, one of the main advantages of the marriage is to bring pacification toward requirements of the flesh. The recipient of the letter who was the friend of the author seemed to be looking......

A sole proprietorship is the least expensive business to start. “To start a sole proprietorship, all you have to do is to obtain a business license required by the local and state governments” (Parrion, Kidwell, & Bates, 2012). A limited partnership can be more costly to form because an attorney will need to be hired to write and uphold the partnership contract. The partnership agreement identifies the type of the association among the partners. “If a corporation is what you would like to start an attorney will need to be hired to write up documents to spell out things like how many stocks can be distributed, what voting rights the shareholders will have, and who the...

...Business Structures Paper Vineta Byrd FIN/571 July 23, 2013 Professor John Dewey Business Structures Paper Various business structures are available to entrepreneurs. Each of the structures have advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, individuals interested in starting a new business should be well informed on the different options available. First, one of the most common business structures are corporations. Corporations are complex and normally require professional assistance from an attorney. However, corporations allow the owners to protect personal assets from business obligations. Corporations are separate legal entities that are owned by stockholders. A corporation can have unlimited number of stockholders which makes it easier to raise capital, (Planning your business: Research, goals, and business plans (2011). Second, another available business structure is a Subchapter S Corporation (S Corporations). This structure is mostly used by small businesses. The advantages are tax savings, business expense credits, and independent life for owners. The Subchapter S Corporation allows the owners to have limited liability, but also function as a partnership or sole proprietorship. Another advantage is shareholders can easily leave the company without drastically affecting the business. The disadvantages are stricter operational processes and shareholder compensation requirements, (Planning your business: Research, goals, and business plans (2011). ...

Making New Friend

...Making Friends The process of making a friend is a very unique one. It depends on the person one is trying to become friends with, it depends on one's gender, it depends on one's age, but most importantly it depends one's personality. Every individual is different and how they make friends differs just as greatly. The way I make friends depends heavily on my personality. As an introverted person, I tend to first meet potential friends through what I call forced association. After the initial meeting, I evaluate them and determine whether or not I think they should be my friend. Bonding, specifically male bonding, follows and acceptance is the final stage. Before I can delve into the sometimes mysterious process of becoming friends with someone, I have to divulge some personal information. I am a great believer in personality typing: the theory that a great majority of people fall into one personality type or another. A complete analysis of my personality is not within the scope of this essay, but suffice it to say that I am very introverted. This does not mean I am anti-social, it merely means that new and non-routine interaction with others taxes my energy. The process of making a new friend is by definition a new and non-routine interaction, therefore it is quite difficult for me to initiate the process. This is where the concept of forced interaction comes in. By forced interaction, I mean a situation where another person and I are placed in an environment where we have no...

Business Opening

...Opening up a business may be one of the hardest things one can do. There is a great amount of effort that goes into creating a business and even greater effort to make it successful. Before opening a business, owners are obligated to keep fresh, open ideas, have good management, and being able to financially sustain their business. Even this may not be enough to create a striving, successful business. There are many factors that go into whether a business is successful or a failure. One of the main reasons why small businesses fail is because of the owners/entrepreneurs themselves. This mainly goes for poor management skills that bring businesses to their demise. Owners who are stubborn, greedy, and self-righteous often don’t do what’s best for the company but choose what they think is the best. Also, owners who cannot operate their business financially are another reason for failure. Making mistakes such as paying too much in expenses including labor, rent and materials also factor into business failure. Businesses that don’t succeed often have poor accounting meaning there’s no organization of where the money comes and goes, and failure to have a backup plan financially. Another main reason for failure is not giving the people what they want. Entering a market that has low or no demand for their product is bad business planning. Advances in technology and a declining market also factor into the downfall of businesses. One of the main reasons why small businesses......

Business Structure Advice

...Business Structure Advice ECO/561 June 11, 2015 Business Structure Advice Mr. Owner, My office received your request for advice on how to start forming your business. In response to your request, our hope is that you will find the following information helpful in the beginning stages of your business venture. To begin, it is imperative for business owners to decide which structure will work best for their company. However, one must first know their business structure options, as they can affect financial and legal liability, decision-making authority, and likely tax consequences. The possible structures of a business can be either a sole-proprietorship, partnership or a part of a corporation. A sole proprietorship is the easiest of all the structures. Should you decide to become a sole proprietor you would have complete control of the business and full authority over all business decisions. However, as the sole owner you would also be liable for any and all debts, losses, and other liabilities incurred. According to the U.S. Small Business Administration (n.d. a), “Because you and your business are one and the same, the business itself is not taxed separately-the sole proprietorship income is your income” (para. 5). This makes for easy tax preparation in addition to the benefit of having low tax rates. A partnership involves two or more individuals who have chosen to cooperatively operate and manage a business focused on developed agreements. It can be......

Gray August 10, 2015 Opening Your New Dunkin Donuts Location Introduction What an incredible honor to be chosen to be the new Dunkin Donuts District Manager for my geographic area including five new locations. In this paper I will discuss what I believe are four major components that will make this new promotion a successful one. First of all there is job design. Next I will discuss Organizational Design. Then I will speak on how I will go about recruiting for the new branches as well as how I will select who to hire. Finally I will discuss the importance of proper training as well as my preferred method of performance appraisals. Job Design Opening a franchise from scratch will be significantly different from what I’ve done up to this point. I will need to use the experimenting method. This will allow me to evaluate and best decide how to organize the workload. For instance someone who is not as adept at using the computer system is best not put on the drive through window. The drive through position is a position where speed and accuracy will be pivotal in everyone keeping up with orders in a timely manner. This method will not only be best for the company’s work flow but also for the individual. This method will keep employees in a department that best suits them, makes them feel accomplished, and encourages productivity. While I prefer to keep employees at a work station......

...Business Structure Advice Fin/571 September 21, 2015 William Stokes Business Structure Advice From: Hope Meeks Date: September 21, 2015 Subject: Business Structure Advice Dear John Owner, I am delighted to have the opportunity to provide you with information about the options available to you for starting a new business. I will begin with providing information on each structure along with the advantages and disadvantages of each type of business structure: the corporation, limited liability company (LLC), limited liability partnership (LLP), partnership, and sole proprietorship. The following will also explain the potential tax consequences of each structure. Corporation The third choice is a corporation; the creation of a corporation provides two structures, “C” corporation and an “S” corporation. They are similar structures, but have a few differences. The “S” corporation has restrictions on who the investors are and their number. In addition, they have differences in taxation, and both are the most difficult and expensive structures to form. Corporations have many investors, which take control of the company out of the hands of the owner; this provides extra opportunities for conflicts in decision-making. However, this type of structure has the advantages of limitless funding available from stockholders, and you will only have liability that is limited to your investment. LLC & LLP With a LLC, the number of partners is unlimited and you could...

...Business Structure Advice FIN/571 April 11, 2015 Dear John Owner, Congratulations on your decision to start a business. It is definitely a smart idea to be aware and analyze the different business structures, their tax implications, and where the investments come from. You do have several options to choose from, and each of them have both advantages and disadvantages. Some of your options include several types of corporations, partnerships, and sole-proprietorship. The first possible business structure is one of the types of corporations. The General Corporation is the most common type of corporate structure. The characteristics of a general corporations include being a separate legal entity, owned by stockholders (an unlimited number), that are protected from business creditors. One option is a type S Corporation, which is actually a type of General Corporation that has a special IRS tax status. It is popular with small businesses because they are charged as if they are sole proprietors, as well as combining tax advantages of a sole proprietorship with that of a corporation. Depending on the type of business you plan on starting, this may be an option for you. An advantage of the corporation is that the individual’s personal assets are protected. A disadvantage is that you have to share the profits with all of the stockholders. Another type of business structure that you could form is a Limited Liability Company, or LLC.
