Purpose
This proposal is for the off-site training session set to begin later this year for Center Stage Dance Company. This document discusses the financial implications of the project and how these implications were estimated. Relevant facts, resources, critical task sequencing, and the project’s milestone will also be summarized in this proposal.
Estimated Cost Summary
Hardware will need to be provided for this training. This includes one projector screen and workstations for those that do not have a company laptop. These workstations will be rented and not purchased since each studio already has hardware that will use the new web based software. An estimated cost for the hardware rental is $1,500. This estimate was provided by quotes obtained from Corporate Audio Visual’s website, http://www.corpav.net/. The training will require 1 trainer for each software program. Since this training session will include the new CRM software and financing/accounting software, the session will require 2 trainers. Instructor costs are estimated at $1,543. This estimation is based on the hourly wage reported by the "Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Department of Labor" (2012) website. Instructional materials will need to be provided in a hard copy and is estimated to be $250. Travel accommodations will need to be included since most of the participants will be arriving from out of state. An estimated cost of 5,500 includes airfare, hotel, transportation, and meals for both days of training. The facility where the training will take place is estimated to cost $327 per day and includes tables, chairs, and wireless internet. This estimation was based on the quote provided for The Mission Valley Training Room (“Mission Valley Training Room-Action Coach Business Coaching”, 2013). The total estimated cost for this training is $9,447.

In most cases, a hospital’s network can transition over time with new technology and evolve into meeting the demands it requires to perform effectively. However, upgrading a hospital’s entire network can often be very expensive to implement and sustain. There may be a case where components or parts are no longer being produced to meet current and future demands. In the last several years, changes in healthcare put a demand on hospitals to maintain their networks with new, more efficient solutions that can enhance performance, keep cost low, but most one that is reliable . The Network architecture at Patton-Fuller hospital was designed for each department to rely on information flow between each department. In other words, if the accounting department needed information from the pharmacy or admissions in order to create invoices or insurance billing, it would be rely on those departments to share real time information through the network. ...Securing and Protecting Information CMGT 400 April 8, 2013 Securing and Protecting Information Authentication With the advances in technology, authentication has become part of our everyday lives, whether scanning your badge at work, signing for a credit card purchase, or logging into your Facebook/Twitter accounts. Authentication is the act of validating your identity while requesting access to software, purchases, or entry to a secured facility. There are four types of authentication; something you know, something you have, something you are, and something you can produce. When a service requests two or more types of authentication, it is called strong authentication, such as inserting an identification card and providing a password to access a computer workstation. “Something you know” refers to the use of passwords, passphrases, and codes or PINs. When creating a password, the user must make the decision to create a string of alphanumeric and special characters with differing cases. The longer and more complicated a password the user creates drastically reduces the risk of cracking or brute force attacks. The same password must also be something easily remembered by the user to dissuade it from being written down and stored onsite or left at the workstation. A solution to this is creating a passphrase, a common phrase or date abbreviated and linked together with special characters to create a personal passphrase difficult to crack but easy to remember. An......

While initially the focus was on implementation of the technology, it was found that success will require at least 10 hours of training for all managers across the country on both the use of the new platform as well as a host of new compliance policies being introduced. Of the options discussed, it was generally agreed than the training should be hands-on and conducted in person at a central location. This will obviously require getting organizational buy in as not all managers are going to be willing to commit to taking time out from their normal responsibilities just for some training. In addition, such large scale centralized training has not been done before by this company; therefore, the CEO wants feedback from participants to evaluate the effectiveness of any training sessions. As a result, your manager has given you the responsibility to develop an outline for a proposed project that would meet this upcoming need. This ensures that items such as breakfast, lunch and beverages can be order accurately for the duration of the training. All registration will be captured in a attendance database. Accommodations As mentioned above, it would be ideal for the training and accommodations to come from the same location. If this is not possible, transportation will need to be provided to and from the training. Additional time will also need to be schedule with the venue for setup prior to training, and tear down at the conclusion of the event. Training Training will begin with sign in at the registration tables. Registration tables should be divided into a minimum of 3 tables, equally split by first letter of attendees last name. Once a person has registered, they will be offered a light breakfast and beverages and then will be asked to make their way to their respective meeting location. Breaks will be provided every 90 minutes with a 1-hour lunch in the middle of training. At the end of the training class (end of day 2), all attendees will be asked to complete a short survey about the event. The questions will cover the material covered, the training venue, and the hotel accommodations....

Cmgt 410 Week 4 Individual Assignment

...Week 4 Individual Assignment Michael J. Beard Jr. CMGT/410 June 18, 2012 Beth Shoults Abstract To achieve success in implementing a project, it is essential to evaluate the project thoroughly. Project evaluation is a method to assure that every party involved within the project sticks with the objective until it is completed, and guarantee that precise expectations are met. Being Huffman Trucking’s evaluator, our company concentrates in certain aspects such as work authorization, project control, performance analysis, project cost, scheduling, and budgeting. Week 4 Individual Assignment As projects are completed, evaluations would still be ongoing bi-monthly in order to continuously and appropriately maintain the company’s new system. These bi-monthly evaluations are not done as a precautionary method or early detection but as well as keeping the operation smoothly running (Westat, 2002). Every department or section of Huffman Trucking along with its headquarters would undergo the evaluation process through a bottom to top system. Through this thorough evaluation, a company’s personnel liable for a certain issue would be recognized. For example, managers would be evaluated similarity for their roles and responsibilities just like regular employee would be for each and every employee has a specific tasks and responsibilities to accomplish. Project control is defined as a scheme to permit the company to design, arrange, make financial......
