Strategic Plan Part I

...Strategic Plan: Kiddi Kare A strategic business plan helps the company to define its mission and vision, giving the company a sense of purpose and direction that sets them apart from competitors (Pearce & Robinson, 2009). A mission statement also discusses the product or services conducted by the company (Pearce & Robinson, 2009). Developing a strong mission and vision statement clearly presents to potential and existing clientele what the company is about and what the plan is for the future. In this paper the subject to discuss is Kiddi Kare’s mission and vision statements and the values of the company and how each of the factors help to determine the company’s strategic direction. Kiddi Kare Kiddi Kare is an early childhood development and care center focused on providing a memorable experience for both the child and the parent. 100: Film Analysis

...Joyce doesn’t want to be a dead weight to her best friend, Ruby (Eugene Domingo), her 2 brother, Gilbert (Simon Ibarra) and her mother, Eloisa (Tessie Tomas). The movie showed the audience the lighter side of dealing with death. Chris Martinez weaved the appropriate humor for such tender subject. I think the movie just wanted to tell people that if you found out you’re already at death’s door, live your life to fullest, fix whatever it is that needs fixing. The most memorable line from the film for me is this one from Eugene Domingo after her character discovered a man’s underwear on Joyce’s bed: “Kaya ka pala nanghihina eh, napakalandi mo eh.”And the most memorable scene goes to the mother-daughter squabble over kare-kare. That one was downright hilarious. 100 has affected my view of dying. Especially Joyce’s preferred way of dealing with it. I learned that life can still be beautiful. And we don’t really appreciate life until it’s about to vanish....

Joey's Bar

...possible that the bar may have another branch soon in other cities capturing the hearts of new businessmen and other potential clients. 2. If Mr. Cortes is really in to the idea of having Rock Live events and decided to stick into hosting its events, it is much better to have it in another venue. Creating another bar exclusive for rock and hardcore music would be a feasible project. By this action, it would maintain its customer’s different taste of ambiance. With this idea, just like a business involving food service, like the restaurant, having two customers with two different choice of food i.e. kare-kare and dinuguan, you can’t put both viands in just one container or cook them at the same time to create just one viand in order to satisfy both customer’s craving for kare-kare and dinuguan; that would be insane. In order to satisfy both customers’ craving, prepare kare-kare and dinuguan but in different containers, in that way, both customers’ needs would be satisfied. Creating another brand name is a risk but if Mr. Cortes is really decided to pursue a rock themed bar, creating another bar in a different site is a feasible risk to be embraced. Mr. Cortes also wants to impress his son who is really in to rock music, and this can be a way for them to become much closer and a good way of showing his support to his son’s chosen field. This is also one of the best ways of separating the two very different customers. By this no event would affect the other because of its......

...INTRODUCTION a.) Max’s Restaurant, 4th floor, Robinsons Galleria Branch, Located at Ortigas Ave. Corner Edsa, Quezon City. b.) History Max's Restaurant is a Filipino restaurant chain serving fried chicken and Philippine cuisine since 1945. Founded by Maximo Gimenez with the help of his niece Ruby after WWII, it is a family-style casual dining restaurant that has expanded to 120 branches in the Philippines, eight branches in the United States, and one in Canada. Its signature dish is its fried chicken—Max's dubs itself "the house that fried chicken built".It's often served with rice and/or kamote (sweet-potato) fries. Other items on Max's menu are Filipino dishes like Max’s Fried chicken, pancit, kare-kare, Lumpia, and crispy pata among others.Although described as "sarap to the bones!", for a signature dish Max's fried chicken is surprisingly plain; aside from possibly a little salt rubbed in, there seems little else done to the chicken before it is deep-fried to a golden brown. Yet it is a testament to the natural flavor of chicken that from such simplicity Max's has enjoyed such longevity. While Max's unadorned fried chicken can be a disappointment at first it does get things right by placing the focus on the chicken. One learns to respect the dish when many years later one still finds it palatable while other seemingly more impressive chicken dishes haven't endured and have faded from memory. In a sense basic goodness and soundness can be used to......
