Healthy Meal
a. The restaurant that I have chosen is McDonald’s. I will create a grilled chicken salad for the healthy meal. The salad will have very little fat in it, as the chicken will be breast meat and will be grilled instead of fried. The salad it self will contain lettuce, carrots, cabbage, radishes, and walnuts. All the vegetables in the salad contain vitamins and fiber. The salad will also be served with a diet soda, no sides and will contain a fruit parapet, which will contain dairy and vitamins from the fruit.
b. I think making and eating this meal will be very healthy for me because, it contains very little fat from both the breast meat and the vegetables. Eating a salad is definitely healthier than eating a cheeseburger or some sort of chicken sandwich as they both contain high amounts of calories. I would also eat the salad without any kind of dressing on it, because it too contains a high amount of fat and calories.
c. I think this will affect my future food choices by making me think about what food does to my body. Not only that, but it will make me think about how it would make me feel after eating the meal and to really think about what I should and should not be eating.

2. Unhealthy Meal
a. The restaurant that I have chosen for the unhealthy meal is Jack N’ the Box. The meal will consist of an ultimate bacon cheeseburger that will have two meat patties with bacon, cheese, mustard and ketchup. It will also be served with French fries and a coke. The meal itself will have a lot of protein as it is red meat, it will contain vitamin C from the cheese, as it is a dairy product. It will also be very high in calories. The fries will contain a lot of carbohydrates because of the potato. The coke will also have high amounts of sugar and carbohydrates.
b. Although this meal tastes very good, it is not exactly healthy. The cheese tends to have a…...

In the second part of the assignment, you need to develop a dietary plan for your BMI value, and for the most part, you need to be as detailed as possible. Basically, I would like to see a “day in your life” according to where your current BMI falls.
