...Roll-391, Section-B Date- 29April, 2014 CAREER MARKETING PLAN No matter what background one has, there is always at least one point in life where one has to take a decisive position as to what one wishes to do for one’s future. This becomes especially important when one is to start of one’s professional career. Such decisions may not give result exactly as expected by the person but planning about them well in advance certainly does hold an advantage. This report represents the path that I wish to take for my career or my future following graduating with an MBA. With an emphasis on my strengths and weaknesses especially those that differentiate me from my competing fellows and are important to my line, I have tried not only to see which line I would personally prefer to pursue but also the one which is more in congruence with my skill set. The major intent, however, is not to select a career path but rather to develop a marketing plan for my personal brand using systematic methods commonly used in regular commercial marketing as well. As a result, I have been able to know about my own interest as well as of the skills that I possess and those that I would need to develop based on who my target audience would be and what goals I have set in relation to my long term objectives. For this, I have analyzed a list of my strengths and weaknesses to see which field interests me most......

Marketing Plan

...Marketing Plan Final Project Marketing plans are written strategies developed to give direction for the product/service or Strategic Business Unit. Many businesses are interested in hiring people who can create and implement effective marketing plans. Here is your chance! GUIDELINES Your assignment is to create a “new” product/service that is currently not being marketed. After you have come up with a product/service you need to choose a real company to launch the new product/service. You need to do some brief research on the real company to explain how the new product will fit in the overall company strategy. Title Page- although preparing the title page is a simple task, remember that it is the first thing readers see. Thus, a title page that is poorly laid out, smudged, or contains misspelled words can give the impression that the project was developed hurriedly and with little attention to detail. The title page should contain: 1. The name of the product 2. The person submitting the plan 3. The person to whom the plan is being submitted (your instructor) 4. The date of submission of the plan 5. Other critical and relevant information as appropriate Introduction- The introduction should explain the product. Basically, this part of your report should make the new idea sound attractive to management or investors. Tell readers what this report is, how it is organized, and what will be covered in the sections that follow. Also included in this section is...

Marketing Plan

...Does your restaurant need a restaurant marketing plan? Or is it enough that people come because the food and service are good. Certainly, if your tables are full every day, you probably dont need one (unless, of course, youd like to make a bigger profit). Simply put, a restaurant marketing plan is a plan for success. If you agree that you need a restaurant marketing plan and are able to write one, we dont have to convince you of its importance. But before you sit down to write it, keep in mind that a restaurant marketing plan has to cover much more than the 4Ps taught in Marketing 101 product, price, place, and promotion. Restaurant marketing doesnt happen in a vacuum. Great marketing is about solid operational execution, effective positioning and the cumulative results of marketing inside the four walls of your restaurant and in the immediate trading area not taking over the airwaves. Effective restaurant marketing must be built on a foundation of fact and knowledge about the market, your competition, your customers, financial history, marketing history, the industry, and outside forces that will impact your business. Be sure youre keeping track not only of overhead and income, but know the answers to questions about business progress: What percentage of your business is new vs. repeat? For example, instruct your serves to at least ask the very simple question, Have you been here before? These first-time customers will establish their......
